Provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and applications of athletic training including therapeutic interventions used in athletic training. Students will explore evidence-based techniques aimed at preventing, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, and case studies, the course will cover foundational therapeutic intervention strategies, documentation, and communication skills. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making and integrating therapeutic interventions into the overall care of physically active individuals.
