Capstone course. Students gain experience in a newsroom environment, producing and editing content for a local/regional wire news service for Acadiana. Students will rotate in reporting, editing, multimedia, social media, and production roles throughout the semester, covering local public affairs issues for online publication. Students will finish the course with an online portfolio summarizing their college journalism career as they prepare to enter the workforce.
