Instruction on lower level leadership/Management skills of receiving, understanding, and communicating directions, plans, and guidance. Concentrates on formulating skills to develop and to analyze different approaches to problem solving. Laboratory places students in a role-playing environment to develop different levels of leadership and management skills.
Map reading, military communications, ethics, and leadership.
May be repeated up to four times. Emphasis on conditioning and the FITT factors - frequency, intensity, time and type.
Basic leadership, management, military directions, individual military movements, military customs and traditions, mountaineering, and rappelling.
Development of middle level management/Leadership skills in planning, organizing and execution, with an emphasis on written and oral communications. Development of training management skills, with the basic training/educational philosophies on how to prepare, conduct, and evaluate job related training/Instruction. Practical exercises are conducted during leadership laboratory.
May be repeated up to four times. Advanced Army physical fitness training, including sustaining a training heart rate and leading platoons through progressively challenging physical fitness sessions.
